Betterbrands Borehole Drilling

The Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme in Zimbabwe is a government-led initiative aimed at providing reliable access to clean water, in 35,000 rural villages across the country. This program seeks to alleviate water shortages that have plagued many communities due to droughts, erratic rainfall, and insufficient water infrastructure. The scheme includes the drilling of boreholes powered by solar energy, ensuring sustainability as well as installation of a 1 hectare drip irrigated garden for horticultural farming and fish ponds.
